Caribbean Vistas Journal, a new e-journal, “will serve as an academic and cultural resource for researchers as well as a formal venue for scholarly discussion. It will be published twice a year (Summer and Winter).

Articles in Caribbean Vistas will examine Anglophone, Francophone, and Hispanophone literatures, visual arts, and performance arts from pluralistic perspectives with emphases on works created in the 20th and 21st centuries. They are seeking:
- unpublished poetry of Caribbean writers
- critical essays, poetry and literary nonfiction
- visual art images
- literary nonfiction essays will be accepted for publication consideration in the second issue
- reviews that analyze recent fiction, poetry, drama, and literary nonfiction as well as scholarly/reference works
Contributions (for the second issue – Winter/Spring 2012-2013) bibliographies, notices, letters to the editor and other materials may be submitted to the editor by electronic mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
