“Mask” – Paula Obe (Trinidad)

“Mask” is spoken-word by award-winning Trinidadian poet & producer Paula Obe. This haunting and sensual melody – with Paula on acoustic guitar – is one of my personal favourites from her album “Afterbirth”.

Her work has been anthologised internationally and she has been constant in advancing the cause of other Caribbean women writers. This writer & musician has been developing jingles and commercials for 15+ years and is also an active part of the robust literary scene in Trinidad & Tobago. She is currently the Creative Director with Vagus MRI, a cutting-edge advertising & marketing research company.
